Giving Tree

What is it?

Giving Tree is a bare branched tree that is placed in the lobby just before Thanksgiving, with tags placed on it identifying institutions or places which will be the recipients of gifts.

How it is done?

Close to 200 tags are put on the tree representing about eight organizations. Parishioners pick tags and purchase gifts and place them back under the tree. A committee works together in various ways to make the tags, sort gifts and deliver them.

How to volunteer?

If you are interested in volunteering, please call the parish office (313-928-1324) and your name will be given to the designated chairperson who will in turn call you back.
