Christ the Good Shepherd provides:

Strong basic skills learning and development in Religion, Language Arts, Reading, English, Literature, Spelling, Vocabulary, Phonics, Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics. Individualized reading programs rooted in Phonics highlighted with whole language and integrated with all curriculum subject areas. Regular curriculum and weekly participation in Music, Art, Physical Education, and Computer Education. Safe and secure educational environment and atmosphere with comfortable class sizes. Social and service opportunities include: school Student Council/school parish and community student volunteer programs/students' school service and safety squads/classroom aid programs/church altar servers/Sunday School aids/seasonal plays, pageants, and more! Full range of academic opportunities: CYO(Catholic Youth Organization) parish sports programs include participation for students in grades 5-8 in football (boys), volleyball (girls), cheerleading (girls), soccer, basketball, baseball, softball (girls' and boys' teams). School sponsored intramural programs for grades K-4 in soccer, basketball, t-ball, and instructional baseball. Special hot lunch and school milk programs.
